Finals week is here and it's a doozie! Forget free time, all I have is study time! Anyways, enough of that, and onto my thoughts about the picture. It's amazing, and the dark colors you've used have imparted a captivating, hypnotic quality to it. It feels like I'm being pulled in, and that is sweet.

I have a clear enough mind to where I can chalk up a poem for this. You've earned it, as always.

You have subjected me to imprisonment, confinement, and entrapment. Is this how you demonstrate your love for me, my dear? My wonderful, sinister, dashing, cruel dear?

Perhaps I am seductive, dangerous, too beguiling for you to handle. Or perhaps I am but a fragile figment of this world, and you fear that I may slip away.

Are you protecting yourself from me, or protecting me from myself? I cannot decide which is more logical, but it does not matter. I embrace neither.

You are so close, and yet so far. Loneliness and despair seep from my feathers like fine wisps of smoke. I am adrift on a lake of gloom, always suffering, always longing, always hoping. When will you release me? 

You merely stand there, gazing, breathing, thinking. When you grow tired, you turn your back to me and lie down, retreating into your picturesque slumbers. Everything is always prettier there, is it not?

You've entangled me in hopelessness and discarded the diamond keys. I pray this is not my eternity, and that my mysterious curse flees. I crave to hold you and kiss you, for I so very sorely miss you.

We were not meant to be apart, but together forever. We met when we were young, but with each passing day we grow old. I yearn to be by your side, my dear, until our hearts are still and cold.
