U say technically xD that is more like eve is her real born daughter. But rey is just a clone or something like it so its 50-50 :3 would say half sister. (Lol if it doesn't make any sense then its just cause i can't explain properly)

In my experience with the manga, which is the only EVA canon I follow because the anime was too fucked up at the end & the movie series gets so morbid in the 3rd movie, Rei is a complete clone of Lilith with no relation to Yui mentioned at all. Also, Rei & Shinji are the best pairing ever. Don't care what anyone says.

It interested me, too, but not in that way. I think it was more of a one sided thing on Shinji's part. Kaworu being an Angel, I don't think he has any concept of human relationships. The anime version of Shinji, I think he's a bisexual. I mean, he has feelings for 1 dude & 3 woman(Rei, Misato, & ugh....Asuka.) But I also consider the anime version of Shinji a degenerate for masturbating over a comatose girl. Even if it was Asuka, who could care less for, that was so fucked up. I still think Rei/Shinji is the best pairing in the franchise. I do also like the idea of Shinji/Misato.

In 1 of the videogames, Shinji has the option of marrying 1 of the many girls in the EVA story. I know Rei, Misato, Mana, & Asuka are a few of them. Rei & Misato look so beautiful in wedding dresses!
