HEROES NEVER DIE!!

Drew Mercy from Overwatch (her new design in Overwatch 2). Reason being that her armour resembles an Angel, and that she is a support hero in the game.

This piece was rather unexpected. You see, I’ve managed to draw most of my pieces in advance back in September (not fully finished, but rough ideas nonetheless), Angel was not one of them. So when it came time to start it, I was completely lost. But then I thought of mercy and I was saved.

Despite me not hatching for this piece, I really liked how this piece turned out. It’s not perfect, but I like it. It has that calm energy.

Mercy is a character I remember a lot as back in the day. She is really useful with her healing abilities, as well as her resurrection power (which used to be an ultimate). Nowadays she really is a different beast from before. Her character is also pretty sweet, almost like a mother figure. Of course, I know of the Mom Mercy and Dad 76 memes (laughs). I miss those days.

Oh yeah, before anyone asks, yes, I know that Microsoft has now Officially bought Activision Blizzard. I wanted to happen, and it finally happened. Though let’s not get our hopes high. One thing is certain, Overwatch is gonna get some form of makeover down the line.
