My half of an art trade with CurlyQ ---her Harry Potter fancharacter, Sapphire, seeker for the Ballycastle Bats.Once again, black hair thwarts me.

Use blue highlights for the hair, not grey. Grey washes it out. I'll try to post an example when I get home, if I have the time... I'm supposed to be writing a two page rough draft of a paper and studying for a test... *cringe*

Oooh, another Hogwarts house. That sounds intriguing. I like this character's face. She has a bit of a long chin that makes her look plain and friendly. You know, the kind of person you can hang out with.

what the heck are you talking about? Her hair looks FINE! XD In fact, it's better than fine...it's GREAT!! Lovely shading on the skin, I've tried using a few slightly different colors to shade skin, but it was quite hard, and for some reason, it never worked. you make it look easy! I also love the faces you draw, they just look so bright and

looks good to me! i like it, i shoudl draw my character/alter ego person, i am just sffraid they wont turn out liek i want and i will be dissappointed. oh well, you seem to be able to capture people
