I think my artist block may be easing up. I was working on this in parallel to the contest entry. A few times I felt like giving up since things weren't going as I hoped but I kept at it. I know chibi wise it may not be as impressive or as pretty as some artist's but know that I worked quite hard on this regardless. Plus the character in question is not really cute in person.

The background took almost as long as the chibi. I could have just gotten a stock image of a stained window (still wondered if i should have tbh) but I felt like i should just make one from scratch just like everything else in the image. So i apologize if it's not the best looking stained window you've seen. I am happy with the steps and altar tho. And I'm satisfied with my lighting. Think I made it all look kinda ominous enough.

This is Aila. One of the major antagonists of my stories. Altho she's more of an underling than a major villain, she has the highest kill count in the early stories. She's an unstoppable enforcer of sorts that is sent to fight and kill mages. Basically, if your her target, then you are f*cked. I won't say more than that but believe me that I put a lot of thought into her story and background so hopefully you'll like her when/if you experience her in my works. :3
