Rainbows are so beautiful and really do brighten up the sky with colors and light. It's almost like a flashlight the earth uses.

I guess it was luck. I was panicking trying to put batteries in the camera and flip it on while the rainbow was like this. I didn't have much time to figit with settings though (hence the little background noise) but I managed to capture this within seconds of the lights fading and the second rainbow dissapearing.

oo wow. I don't think I've ever seen a rainbow cast such an intense hue, but that might be because I live in the Springs and the mountains block the angle of light I imagine is condusive to such color

Thank you so much. Yeah, I was excited when taking this picture because of the huge amount of light coming off of it. I walked outside and was like "WHOAH" and had to run and get my camera. The large amount of light was fading with the second rainbow so I had to snap really quick pictures to really get the whole effect (hence some noise that might be seen in the picture).

Yeah, I wasn't quite sure on ways to remove the noise. I did not want it to look fake (and it was raining pretty hard when this shot was taken too).
