FACT: For somebody who doesn't have super strength or a flying suit or super weather control or super RAGE, Natasha Romanov can certainly hold her own. (Clint too, their clearance levels are probably really high in SHIELD.)

I also did not realize how much I appreciated Scarlett's take on her from The Avengers movie until a) I saw her interview where she was like THERE IS NO TIME FOR ROMANCE WE'VE GOT SHIT TO AVENGE which was BAMF and b) I watched Ultimate Avengers 2006.

Oh dear. Oh my.

The only thing I really liked (and I mean REALLY liked) about that film was Hippie Whale Saver!Thor. (Angsty!Bruce Banner comes kind of close and I'm kind of really glad he doesn't eat people in this adaptation.)

Luckily in both versions, it is made very clear that Black Widow is having none of your shit today or any day of the week. Also, don't piss her off, she can do things with her thighs that might literally kill you.
