Description
After miles of tracking the river, the weary soldiers saw death on the horizon. They loaded their Winchesters with the sound of a thousand ticking, wooden clocks. Then, a pause. Anticipation rose with the commander's left glove. In just one moment something went wrong. He fell backward, into the hill. His men helplessly watched as the killing arrow was revealed sticking out of his neck. It's followed by dozens more. The remaining troops covered themselves and fired back;

Bang!
Zip!
Bang-bang!
Zip....zip!

Only one man stood in silence before he, too, fell to the blood soaked grass. With his last breaths, he thought he would find God but, instead, heard an applause. Confused, he looked up to see 3 rows of spectators seated, watching from across the river. Anger bubbled through his veins until his glare met a woman who pointed at a giant skeleton holding the edges of the universe.

The skeleton nodded to the soldier, then closed the chapter
