Go the spoon, the only crit I can give is maybe to add something to the number plate, unless you already did and it didn't work out.

I usually don't put number plates, just because... Plus when prints are made, they can't contain any copyrighted info (like car names) just to be safe.

Not necessarily a car name, I was thinking CRW 001 or something similar (or however Canadian number plates go). Fair enough on the names though.

Basically lineart - using Illustrator to make them, or a similar vector based program. It's sorta cheating in a way - basically artistic tracing in a way. I use a base image and recreate it in lineart.

Madness, I say! I'm taking a class in advanced Illustrator, learning all the shortcuts and whatnot, I couldn't imagine having patience for something like this! About how long do things like this take you?!

Pretty stunning, you really have to have a talent to block off your colors and shapes, and you do!

CRWPitman In reply to LastVigilante [2005-10-11 19:20:33 +0000 UTC]

Um - I'm not sure how long it took in total... I was working on it for a week or so, in amongst my actual work last week. Maybe 10 hours total? I dunno - it's hard to be accurate as I wasn't continually working on it.
