Wow, that is pretty hilarious. Maybe it has to do with Harry's Patronus. XD It was meant to be.

Oh wow, this looks really cool. I usually don't like tattoos that much and often think a person looks better with clear skin, but this actually looks quite pretty. I might actually consider getting a tattoo if it was one like this.

Thanks, it took me forever to design this. It has so much meaning jam packed in there. I researched millions of tattoos, just to draw this, trying to stay away from the flashes, and do something original. I drew like twenty frames, until I came to something I liked. I like the simplicity of the lines. It works with the skin instead of against it. I think it has a vintage feel.

That's the best kind of tattoo. One that has a lot of meaning to it, and one you really thought hard about. And the fact that you made it yourself makes it way better. Even if you ended up not caring much about the subject later in life, you'll still remember how much work you put into making it. I'm really impressed with the frame. Bordering designs like that are something I could never do. It looks intricate, but yeah there's this balance with simplicity of the lines too. It's kind of neat seeing you describe it, since it's obvious how much thought you put into it and it's cool to hear the artist's and owner of the tattoo's perspective.

Also, the deer can represent whoever I want it to be, unlike text. I steer away from text, because language changes every day. Like gay, meaning happy, is now totally different. I grew up a lot in Indiana. I see deer more as beautiful creatures than roadkill. Plus, the symbolism of deer in Beowulf just astounds me. The whole "hart" spelling like "heart" and "herot" and the meaning of a place of heaven and the such. Looks like a bunch of jumble, but if you look into it, it is crazy awesome.

You have a good point there, about language changing. And yeah, with language there can't be as many interpretations of it, too. Deer are beautiful creatures! The hart/heart thing gives lovely meaning to it. Again, it's great that you looked so much into it.
