Description
I've been pretty devoid of creativity lately. It's been hard to come up with ideas, or to get them down the way I want them when I do think something up. So, here's an oldie from way back in 2017. I was flipping through my old sketchbooks, hoping to get some inspiration, when I ran across her. I believe I was going for that solemn peacefulness that statues in cemeteries always seem to have. I know she's not perfect, but she does kind of exude a sense of peace, and I like that.
If I remember correctly, I used a 3 color limited palette of Lukas 1862 watercolors in permanent lemon yellow, cyan, magenta (those were the three colors I got to test the paints before investing in a palette). Pretty sure that's what I used, but memory tends to be a funny thing.
