Description For the fur exchange aceo group . for

Ama's OC Shwish. What's she hunting? Something major?.......Like a caterpillar? X3

She supposed to be fast, so i ended up mixing a bit of cheetah anatomy in with pharaoh hound anatomy. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.

I used water colors to color it and a few pen touch ups. It took about 4-4 1/2 hours to color.

Oh man this looks absolutely amazing! It is so cute and colorful. I absolutely cannot wait to receive it! I love all the little details on it and Shwish looks so determined to get whatever it is she is hunting. I love the details like the little mushrooms.

I also didn't know pharaoh hound's were a thing, but apparently they are! I've been going cheetah/greyhound, but pharaoh hound is actually perfect! Greyhound was always a little too small, so thank you for teaching me something new about drawing my own OC!

I can't wait to add this to my collection. I love most of the cards that I get, but they often become quite similar (so many headshots of a character with a neutral expression, which I totally draw myself often and I still love them). But it's super great to receive something that is quite different and has a whole background. I don't have many cards with an actual background to them. Or the characters fullbody.

Your very welcome. I just cant help but go all out. I've noticed certain members do a lot of head shots. My last trade was a head shot, wile i did an uber detailed full body and bg for her. It made me think i should start doing them or maybe just talk to the person first about what they wanna do. I think i'll ask so my trades will be more fair.

Yep! I do a lot of browsing through all kinds of animal anatomy. I pays to google photos of the real thing. You will also come across animals you haven't heard of before. So search and study! There are also lots of great tutorials here on DA.  Just explore and have fun with it.

It was fun drawing and painting her. Thanks for making me an equally awesome piece.
