Hmmm...sorry, but this is a little too exotic for me. Certainly too exotic for two of my favorite fantasy franchises: STAR WARS and Tolkien. (Not, however, too exotic for Narnia, which I can take or leave, although I loved it when I was about 10.)

I liked Narnia until I realized there wasn't too much diversity there. It's mainly dwarves, giants, Greco-Roman mythological creatures, and animals (most of them European animals). I've always preferred STAR WARS and THE HOBBIT/THE LORD OF THE RINGS for their advanced zoology and ethnography. In fact, I like to think that STAR WARS and Tolkien are the same universe, and Middle Earth is an alien planet!
