Here's a scary story I think little bugs like this guy would hear in bed:
"For years, we have always heard of a dire threat to us bugs. Hideous, furry, 8-legged monsters. I shall not reveal their names here, mind you, but you'll know them when you see them. They have piercing, menacing fangs, bulging bellies, and massive, sticky traps of white, glistening goo. Be aware, these are merely rumors, but then again, do all stories come from rumors?"Β
Maybe it hurts the cute mood of this piece, but it does give some thoughts about how these cute creatures here may live, and that's an interesting thing to think about, right?
