This is too adorable for words.Β Β Β Β I was so hoping that Nintendo would give us a baby gryphon Pokemon that acts like a puppy (like this) but instead they gave us Iwanko and Type : Null. I love Iwanko, though.

Do Malaysians buy their games in Japanese?
Where I come from, we call theseΒ Rockruffs.

The majority prefer English games, but a certain few prefer their games to be in Japanese. But the reason why I always use the name "Iwanko" for him because I hate the named "Rockruff". It's an ugly and meaningless name. The Japanese name is so much cuter and is full of meaning - in Japanese 'iwa' means "rock", 'wan' is the sound a dog makes and 'wanko' means "puppy". If those westerners actually had good taste in names they'd name it "Rockpup" instead of the stupid name it has today which literally means "ruffled like a rock".

I like how you have balanced this out by having some features of a dog and others of a toucan. Having the head be of a toucan is a great idea. Nice work.
