My headcanon for this picture is that in the tree across from this birdhouse, another birdhouse is being noisy and chirping about, and the old grumpy Horus in this picture's Birdhouse is all "Damn foreigners making a ruckus! Kids, show 'em how its done, the Egyptian way!"

I've never much liked Egyptian mythology, because those gods look just too weird to me. But this is funny, cute and pretty accurate! I am glad you did this.

You should totally give the Alicanto a shot. It's a mythical bird from South America that has shining metallic hue feathers and glowing eyes. They eat gold and silver, and live in small caves between mountains and hills. If lucky miners follow them without being caught, they can find gold and silver. If they're caught, the bird leads the miner off a cliff.
I love that you made Horus here look like an old man shaking his cane at noisy neighbors. xD
