(it's more like you're not making a very good case for me to not do so. while I can understand not wanting to have people flood you - thus no linking - you're making it sound more like a request based off nothing really. since what you're afraid of happening has happened long before I even found your work, the excuse you give is nothing more than that. an excuse, not a valid argument.
i'm a reasonable individual, but i see no reason [since next to no one pays attention to me anyway because I am not famous for anything] not to add an au to a simple list. if you're really THAT worried that people are going to swamp you then I could just put the name and not the creator. though doing so feels like I'm cheating you since I have credited each and every source and even went through a lot of trouble to find out who created some of these aus because it's not always common knowledge. such was the case with Underswap. I went through no less than 20 pages [before wiki had their own au] just to discover WHO the original author was so i could credit them properly.
if you don't wish to be credited though, that is your prerogative.)

I don’t care about being ‘swamped’. I just don’t want to be on your list; I don’t have to give a reason. A creator’s wish on the matter should be enough for you to say ‘okay thanks anyways’ and move along.
If you’re going to keep pushing on the matter, though, then I’ll tell you why: I don’t like you. Your reaction to my simple request to not put me on your list only cements that. Not to mention the last time we interacted it was when you were rude to me just because I asked you not to leave unsolicited rp style comments.
I was trying to be polite, but there we are. Please stop commenting on my works and please leave my AUs off your list. You’re nothing but rude and high handed and I want nothing to do with you.

(the point of the list isn't so much a project as just to keep track of existing AUs. if you've seen my list you'd be well aware I don't link back to sources, though I do credit the original creators and add summary of those I know anything about.)

I mean, if you're making a list anyways, the least you could do is link to wherever you found that AU so people can look at it themselves.

(if I did THAT, however, then creators like you would be flooded with people. not everyone is thrilled with that prospect.
thus I only credit the creators rather than link back to their works. this list is for MY use...
not as some free advertisement/promotion/what have you for anyone else. the point of my lists is so that I - personally -
can keep the AUs straight. not so that other people can use it as a guide or something. that's what Wikipedia is for and
what not.
as it is, you are not the only one who has contacted me with a request to not have their stuff connected - lest anyone
actually bother to rifle through the lists I have. even so, I keep out of details on my list to keep others from stealing
ideas straight up as much as to help only those who are interested in doing research themselves by pursuing looking
up the names of the aus on my list themselves.
I'm a protector, not a tour guide. anyone who delves into any au on my list does so because they do the looking
themselves and not because i have provided them with anything short of a name and who is responsible for its creation.
in fact, there's a handful you CAN'T find even if you look because they're gone.)
