Lee shivered as he tried to sleep, keeping his eyes shut. He tried to focus on the little wyngling forcefully trying to get to Lee's pillow. Ember has been doing well... she's met other wynglings at the nook.. and she seemed to have gotten some spikes.... Thinking about how Ember's been doing started to make Lee drowsy. He shivered once more as he started to remember the smell of smoke. It's nothing important...

Lee quickly jumped as the smell of smoke became stronger, snapping his eyes open. He was a wyngling again, in his old bed and covered by his old blanket. He thought something was wrong about this before he remembered the crackling fire around him. He sat up looking around in fear and frowning at the absence of his parents. Where were they?? He turned to the doorway at a shout and the sound of things being thrown and shattered. That voice didn't sound familiar..-
He yelped at his mother suddenly appearing beside him, nudging him out of bed and to another room.
"Mom?? Where's dad??"
"He's fine, we have to get out of the fire!"
Lee whined softly as she nudged him once more before flinching at the fire growing louder. They quickly ran out the room.
