Neither of them have Sonic's super speed

Charlie the stuck up heir to the throne who has spent a lot of his life training to be king and has caused him to have a pretty big ego. Sally takes him under her wing and tries to teach him how to be a leader, that way in case theres a crisis, he'll be able to step and be a good leader. However, in an actual crisis, Charlie would crack under the pressure. It's obvious hes not going to be a very good king one day .

Layla is the younger of the twins who finds her brother's big ego to be annoying. She's seen the stuffy training he does and finds it to be boring, she'd rather be out having her own adventures. however, wherever she goes, trouble is close behind so as of lately, she's been giving the royal family a bit of a bad name. She's very skilled in archery and spends a lot of time in the forest.

Sonic is technically the king but he's not a very /good/ king. By that, I mean he doesn't really do much as King. Sally is the main leader and does all the talking and leading and stuff. Sonic is just kinda, there. He bails a lot and he and tails will sneak off for some adventure, like old times. He thinks Sally doesn't know but she does.

Sonic has a hard time dividing his time between his kid's and spends a lot of time Layla. it's one of the reason theres a rift between the twins. Sonic finds it easier to relate to Layla since she's more like him. She's adventureous and bad at this royalty thing, just like Sonic is (also sonic finds his son to be kind of a pill lately.)

Sally is better about spending an equal amount of time with her kids but she feels like she's gotten closer to Charlie since she's having to shape him to be the next king. She and Layla are still pretty close though! She just wishes her daugther would stay out of trouble.
