I see too often that deviants have their art stolen and used for web graphics or worse... MYSPACE IMAGES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (TEH HORROR TEH HORROR!) Anyways I'll admit to being one of these people that stole art on DA to use in web graphics. At least I know how wrong it is now huh? I still have the urge from time to time to use a Ragnarok Online fanart on DA to make a nice website for an RO server but I usually end up using original iRO images anyways. I try my best not to do that anymore really. I feel bad that I used to do that. And when I use fanart now I tend to ask first. So yeah... anyways ~ I did this pretty quick while waiting for my boyfriend to get out of the shower (...sadly he decided to go to bed right after. <_<
. This isn't really one of my best stamps but whatever if you like it 
it, comment it, use it in your journal, or whatever you wanna do. If you steal it. I'm not gonna care. It's a stamp I won't freak out about it....

I'm agree with this stamp. Someone of in this DeviantArt stole some arts from the others and still claiming them as their own. I'll use them to keep arts safe.

Using bases: fine. Tracing a pose with your own hands: fine. Recoloring is also fine as long you credit and have permission.

Just to clarify, the act of downloading an artwork to your computer to marvel at in your basement is not illegal. Putting it out there without permission, or, even worse, without crediting the artist, is illegal, granted it's not under an open license.

what about the people who don't have dA? because your art can be on google images and someone could "Save Image As" for school for a projectΒ or they have to redraw something for art class, would that still be considering stealing? even though they got it from google images not knowing the source of it?
