Ummmm.....openCanvas doodle. I wanted to draw a goldfish so bad. o.oI used to own a couple of goldfish....if you can call them that. They were big, hulking abominations against nature, dwarfing the also massive minnows that were in the tank with them.
Goldfish are awesome. <3

Aww, thank you. <3 I love goldfish and koi, they're my favourite types of fish. I used to have two BIG goldfish growing up, they were someone else's pets that I got given...they were HUGE, so big that they ended up eating the (also huge) minnows that were in with them. D:
I'd love to, but unfortunately the file wouldn't be anywhere near big enough.

You're welcome. <3 They're my favourite type of fish as well. I spent a lot of time at store that is my home at their koi pond. I named all the fish. Haha. I've had my currant two goldfish for a year and half now. They're my babies. Mum wants to get another and I keep telling her that we can't put it in the same tank as the other two because it would meet the fate of your minnows. She didn't understand till put a little bit of ham in their tank that they'll eat meat.
Aw. I understand. I'd love it if you took a shot at redrawing it someday.

Haha, I had no idea they'd do that either! Other than "fish food" I had no idea what they would eat. I learned a lot more about fish when I got a betta for a pet a few years ago. I really wanted to train him to not be afraid of me and come up and nibble at my fingers, but unfortunately he was too much of a picky eater to do it. :c I looked up lots of different treats you can give bettas and he just wasn't interested!

I was really clueless about fish, too. I had never lived without pets so a couple weeks into my first year of college I went to Wal-Mart and picked out two fish that looked pretty. Then I went back to the dorm and researched them. I learned that if they're taken care of they can live for at least ten years. Haha. I really want to train them to do agility things, but I have yet to find the time. My boys will eat anything. I think that's goldfish for you though.

Aww, I wanted to take fish to my dorm. D: I can't remember now, I don't think it was allowed, but I was too concerned with keeping up with cleaning the tank and everything so I decided against it. I'd love to agility train fish too! I got all kinds of weird looks asking around in pet stores about that sort of thing.

The tank was a lot to keep up with. When they came home for winter break I ended up leaving my boys in the care of my father. They'll be two in September. I took Elizabeth kitty back with me though, since I had moved into the pet dorm right before break.
Yay! I'm not the only person that I know anymore who wants to agility train fish.

Ah, something about the swirly, pastel-like coloring and the soft yellow makes me feel very calm when I look at this picture.

You don't have to tell me twice. We used to have a bunch of minnows -- these were no small minnows, either -- that met an...unfortunate end at the hands of my gigantic goldfish.
