It is finally done! I'm so happy!!This was a actually a nightmare...I spent three days straight in the studio working on this to get it done before the deadline. I put the actual collage up at the top of it with it.
A couple of things I learned while painting this:
1. I cannot paint a straight line to save my life.
2. Everything I see now in life I see in colors and brush strokes.
3. I HATE Sebastian's Demon mark! (Why you so sexy Sebby with your difficult demon mark?!)
4. Everytime I looked at my collage to see if I got a color right the color would change on me.
5. I turn out with more paint on me at the end of each painting session than my painting has.
6. I officially HATE FIRE!!!
So just a couple things I learned from this painting. Can't see I never learned anything from painting. But I am overall with this painting I think it turned out beautifully for rushing through it the last couple of days, but I now get to post it online on my birthday! Yay!
But I got an A on it...49/50...98%...I lost a point on color matching which I agree with. I have a few things that I would like to change...some of Mello's rosary beads are a little too dark for my taste because Matt's goggles were still wet when I painted the beads over top. I don't know how I feel about the left lens of Matt's goggles, but I suppose it looks alright for my rush job.

Reasoning behind it: They are most of the books I love...unfortunately Artemis Fowl got cut out by my professor...but that is why there is a book in the middle of the painting with different symbols from many of my favorite stories.

You did a great job on the demon mark. Of course, I think anyone who can paint is amazing, so don't take my word for it.

Thanks!! I thought it was ok, but there are always things I wish I could fix/touch up or do differently...ah the curses of being a perfectionist...but I am overall happy with it.
Yeah I think painting is a very difficult area of art to deal with so I agreee with you! ^^
I was going to do some Gnommish letters I thought were interesting, but my professor cut them out because the collage was already too busy...but I think that mayb if I knew how to use photoshop and could have made a collage that way I think I could have made a really neat collage with the letters in it...oh well...>.<

That looks SO AWESOME!!!!!It`s a shame you could not add Artemis fowl but it looks awesome anyway.I would give you 100% if I would be the teacher.I really like the colors and I don`t know why he/she gave you 98%.Or maybe it's me who is color blind (it might be actually...)

That is so freakin AWESOME!!!! You have to help me with painting!! I'm like Crystal when it comes to painting (you know...paws...can't hold a paint brush...eats the paintbrush...), I SUCK at painting!!! And WHAT is your prosseor thinking 49/50!???!!! Dude it deseres 100%!!!! It's looks FREAKIN AMAZING!!!!! Man!!! i can't get over how amazing it looks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
