Description A Gargoyle design used in an RPG with a friend of mine; while none of these OC's have really in depth backgrounds or names yet it was fun to finish these drawings.

And just to avoid any confusion, if the wings look a bit large on them that was the intent, it was supposed to be a particular 'Clan Trait' with all members having abnormally large wings.

I was thinking something a little more 'Earthy' but Ember is a nice name, I'll probably use it for another Gargoyle

Thanks for the suggestion!

That I did I'm still working on some more members for the clan, although I think I've finally come up with a name for them... 'The Dragons Teeth Clan' what do you think? I always like opinions from others I hope I'm not imposing...

I like that! It's befitting for a clan of gargoyles...kinda menacing and a little mysterious at the same time. Hopefully, a name like that will keep humans away

And no, you're not imposing at all! Thank you for asking my opinion!

Thank you, the name is representive of the location they live in at the Bermuda Triangle. The area is filled with sharp, rock outcroppings that ships have difficulty navigating through and frequently wreck themsevels on. The clans abnormal sized wings developed because they are airborne virtually all night accept when they dive into the water for fish. When they roost they use their talons including the ones on their wings to grip into the rocks and cling to the walls when they turn to stone... most passers-by don't even notice them.

...I talk to much Sorry....

What a great background to your clan!! I wondered what part of the world they lived in Not only would the oversized wings come in handy in an environment like that, but I'm guessing they have to really hone their night vision and sensitive hearing to avoid harming themselves on the jagged rocks! In the Bermuda Triangle, do they have many passers-by?

Actually yes, they have better night vision than most other clans which makes their eyes glow a bit brighter than normal gargoyles. As for the jagged rocks, they like to test the extent of their maneuverabilities by zipping through the outcroppings as fast as they possibly can. They are also somewhat aquatic, as they use their oversized wings to propel themselves through the water and hey can hold their breath for almost a half hour at times.

Passers-by? Not as many as you'd imagine. The area of the Bermuda Triangle they live in is very secluded and its waters are extremely dangerous. On average they might have 2-3 ships pass them every month or so. Most often in the day since very few people would dare to go to near that area at night. But they usually have at least one shipwreck every six months. When this happens they scavange the wreck and take anything of use. (Food, clothing,etc...) And then they push the ship into the waters in order to not draw any unwanted attention.

Their hierarchy is similar to other clans but a noticable difference is that it's more Matriarchal, with the females in charge moreso than the males. A clan rule is that no male could become clan leader. Sadly this clan has no Gargoyle Beasts.
