Birt's situation is special, he's intersexed and appeared more male when he was younger.
Most people refer to him as male because of this, although he doesn't really mind, he's more concerned that people think he's like 15 (he's like 35) and don't take him seriously.

Yeah haha, Birt is one of my more unusual characters. I need to put his updated profile up somewhere, not much has changed aside from my art improving (I think) XD

Like all murodeans, Birt has like a bazillion siblings, but he hasn't been in contact with his family since the age of 13ish, and thus has no connection with them (which is fair, his parents allowed him to subject to religious mutilation)
