m' buddy, ~Galka-prince , got me into Dragon Age: Origins.
I found it a bit amusing how after battles the characters are covered from head to toe in blood, and they don't even make a notice to this.
I thought Alistair of all characters would even make a deal about his face being smeared with blood! He likes his hair, BTW!
But when you meet the Dog (named after my dog, Pepper), in my case, as a City Elf. After the battle, the poor Dog is spattered with DarkSpawn blood.
For those who have played the game, does the dog seem...a little to.....happy? as opposed to the other Dogs you've come across? hmm?
P.S: You don't have to tell me that the Dog can lick off the blood when you ask him too, I KNOW that now! Thanks.
P.S.S: please, no more "I named my dog...blah blah blah". Enough is enough, please!

After a battle, you talk to him and there's an option called "Can you take care of this mess?" and he'll lick the blood off.

lol I never had that option as a mage, though sometimes I got bloody. However, I started a new story as a rogue and was given that option for him to lick the blood XD

you smack something up close and your body becomes red with blood in that game, you take off your armor you had on in the battle and magicly it got under the armor too.XD So this was totally perfect. :3

Even though you said don't say it...I named my dog after my fiance, only it's his name backwards. Namar. It's funny to tease him with because he's like "no! I will not have any real dog named after me!!" XD
I was a City Elf too! A warrior, just like yours by the way the armor looks like...and I wondered why he licked off the blood from you. My theory is that the dog was given a taste of human flesh at one point. By the way he shrank back in this one part from Alistair when he commented on something like that but also how the dog will lick the blook from your character so willingly and without complaint...
Anyway, I'm so excited about getting Dragon Age 2 in a week!!

Actually my Elf is a Rogue, but I suck at drawing armor. XD
Yeah, I've beaten Origins, and I tried playing Dragon Age 2, but I just...lost interest. It was interesting that they gave the main character a name, a voice, certain voice options, but it just didn't feel like origins anymore and I just didn't feel like playing it anymore.

I've heard mixed feelings on the sequel, but eh -shrugs- I'm willing to give it a shot. Games change through the years (I'm pretty sure you know that lol) so as long as they didn't royally mess up I'll be fine with it. I don't like how they gave the character a name, however. I liked choosing my own name, there's just that name that you're stuck to like glue, and having been given that ability to choose it then change that option seems...off. But oh well
Rogue was my second option, but I always seemed to like the female warrior. I guess this comes from knowing my heritage takes part in the vikings and I'm related to some female vikings
