I did this one after watching the Ass Burgers episode ;; while listening to Coldplay's Fix You. bubbubI know Stan didn't drink because he liked booze itself, but having someone you care about in this situation.. well, it's sad.

Even though it was a very downer episode, "You're getting old" was eaily one of the best South Park episodes I've ever seen. Top five easily.
Not only was it a moving and dram,atic story of a young boy who no longer find joy in the things that once made him happy, but it also serves as a great message for what the show's creators must have undoubtedly been going through at this point.
Trey and Matt have been doing this show for a long time, so long that, as Sharon Marsh said in the episode, everything's gone stale, repetive. The show reached a point where everything became predictable, formulaic, repetitive.
I know this was not the ultimate end of the show, but if it was, it would have ended the show on a very well-crafted, if upsetting, end.
