In Velma's Quest, after she got Hsien Ko back into her grave (and exposing a fraudulent millionaire named Eva Feng), Trudy gives Velma a bag of saltwater taffies as a long-awaited gratuity gift, and once the detective heads back to her hotel room, she begins to regret trying to leave Patrick for Ryu. Once Chica comes into the room, she consoles the saddened saint until she asks her about wanting some pretzels, to which the latter nods. While on the roof of a Mary June's gas station, the animatronics remind Velma of her multiple accomplishments that succeeded without Patrick's approval, and once she knows that, Velma swears she'll never a damsel in distress again, which in turn leads to Unit 42 (real codename Unit 87 as revealed by Pyron later on) kidnapping her! Morrigan tries to get Velma away from the tractor beam, but is struck down by the alien robot. Velma then realizes she can summon Inkyaasuu by removing the rosary's cross charm, does so, and Inkyaasuu attacks Unit 42, only to get Velma and herself incapacitated in the process. The animatronics watch in helpless horror as the bigger robot flies away with their newfound friend, intending to take her to his extraterrestrial master.

Drawing Huitzil was a stinking pain in the butt, but I did get every detail right, so that's a plus. I've got so much to finish up before summer goes away for good!
