From travelling the high seas and usually staying in a modern scene for so long Lostelle wasn't quite sure what to do to about her seedrians racial connection with nature, let alone involve herself with it. She looked around at her competition laying in beds of flowers and trees, or strolling and relaxing in forests. Walking out of a big patch of forest, she found a lone flowery tree caked with moss and a sea of dirt around it. Thinking it was the perfect place for her empathetic power Lostelle skipped up and placed her hand against the tree at first, searching for any signs of feedback. The tree was sitting there blank as ever, and the poor seedrian wondered if she's even capable of interacting with nature in any way. She began to pour more focus into communicating with the tree, closing her eyes. With a strange glow about her she leaned into the tree... she was truly at one with nature.

My part for round 3 of SeedrianStarPageant !
This round gave me a run for my money. We had to put in a detailed background involving the darling Spring season~ We also had to give our characters some kind of flower petal-like outfit and interacting with nature, because PRETTY LIL' PLANT GIRLS~ >8U
For Lostelle's outfit, I was rather lost myself in choosing an outfit for Lostelle. So many beautiful flowers, so little time to decide~! Tucked Lostie's already petal-like skirt up like she had in the last round and dolled her up like an adorable orange easter lily. I'm also not quite used to making very intricate backgrounds, definitely not the naturey kind either. Based the setting of the tree on my neighbors yard, that house has some big and beautiful flowering magnolia trees once Spring comes up! One of their trees doesn't have too much grass around it which is why there's so much dirt going on in the picture too, I may as well practice how to paint it. Had minor trouble figuring out how to do the magnolia flowers, just know they're all individually painted~... I was doing so well with this pic until my technical difficulties set in, which I have yet to resolve. I got really bummed out, but I wanted to finish and come up with something, it's waaay better than having nothing~! I really love how I did the tree, moss, and bushes. They're definitely my best features! If I ever have to do anything like this again in a certain amount of time, I need to keep in mind to stay patient and focused~!
