Description I am cut against your edge
and when you’ve gone
that wound echoes
out your name
in red.

Companion piece to both of which are two of the main characters from the webcomic I have in the works.

It started as just a cathartic sketch for me but I think I'll work more on it and make a finished piece of it and turn it into some 18x24 prints. Thinking of what to put in the background.. hmm..

I sometimes write lame poems, sorry. :/

Hi! Umm, well, I don't think it's necessarily "called" anything. I'm influenced by alot of different art styles, so what comes out just happens to be the way I draw. lol So I wouldn't call it a style, I guess. But thank you! I'm glad you like it~ (:

Both of these look gorgeous! As a matter of fact, I`d love to see them together as a dyptych. Your sketchy lines are wonderful, especially how you draw hair (but you know that already, lol)! And I adore the muted colours, and how the muted tone of red pops out just a liiittle bit more than the rest. I love this atmosphere of elegant sadness! *_*

lol Thanks! Yeah, I'll definitely finish it and I've started the sketch for a companion piece too! So maybe, hopefully, I'll get productive and actually make them into prints. Then maybe I'll have something to show when relatives are all "Where's your art?" And I'm all "Ehh... on... the internet?"
