Description I've ultimately dumped the Dino-Demons idea, and made them not demonic entities, but the offspring of Dinosaurs and Dragons. Yeah, you understood well, Dragon+Dinosaur. More precisely, Elemental Dracos( a group of dino-like dragons adapted to different elemental conditions).What, can't a red dragonnes be impressed by a t-rex? And besides, dragons can use magic to shapeshift, so....also, they can cross with any reptilian, and sometimes other, species. However, let's begin..

UMBRARAPTOR INTERNECIVUS

Born from the union of a dromeosaurid(any species) and a black dragon. Black dragons admire the dromeosaurs's intelligence and unpitiful hunts, as well as their deadlynessThat's why some black dragons choose to transform and being part of the raptor's pack for some time, eventually being mounted by or mounting some members of the pack. The resulting infants will be intelligent and skilled hunters that stalks in darkness.

An umbraraptor bears the intelligence, power, wickedness and strenght of a black dragon, and the speed, agility, deadlyness and cleverness of a raptor. These creatures are pitch black, with some minor purple shades. They look like medium-sized dromeosaurids, but they have wicked yellow-green eyes that betray their intelligence, little horns, oversized claws and some frills on their back. They inhabit caves, preferring those with watersource of sort, being them adept swimmers.

Pack Hunters: these beasts attack and move in packs, often giuded by the most wicked female of the clan. This renders them much more deadlier than hunting individually;

Death leapers: Umbraraptors have an innate leaping ability, arriving at 10 meters high. They leap often with their enourmus claws unfolded, so that when they fell down they plant them deep into the enemy's flesh;

Daylight Shadow: while black dragons don't like daylight, Umbraraptors's blood is also that of a dinosaur, so that they can roam freely during daylight without flinching;

Telepathy: Umbraraptors can communicate with any other member of their clan within 100 meters from them;

Predatory Shadows: Umbraraptors can assume a translucent body that really looks made out of shade. It indeed is, and the creatures can't be touched and pass through surfaces when in this state. However, direct exposure to light will mortally wound, if not destroy, the creatures;

Out of the Dark: In any dark environment, or even at night, Umbraraptors can use the dark spots they finds to teleport themselves, using these as doors. They could come out of a dark corner, or even the shadow of another creature for a surprise attack. At night, they can go wherever they wants. Enlightning the dark spots, however, close the dark gate, forbidding its use to the creatures or, if they're already through it, trapping the creatures until the light is gone;

Spider's Movement: Umbraraptors can run and walk on any surface, even upside-dow. However, when doing this, they must get on all fours, so they're not as fast as when on the ground, even if they gain more agility and good ambush positions;

Dark Globe: Umbraraptors can spit concentrated globes of darkness that can cover up to 20 meters in lenght. These globes hit with a powerful impact, enought to knock medium-sized creatures off their feet. After the main hit, the globe dissipates in strands of darkness that sink into the target, beginning to drain out its energy, weakening it to the point that it's not even capable of standing up;

With time, Umbraraptors have become a race by themselves, able to riproduce on its own. This created two generations of these creatures:

First generation: born directly from a black dragon and a raptor, is the species described above;

Second generation: born from umbraraptor parents, these creatures are far more common than their parents. They look just like the average raptor, only with pitch black skin and yellow-green eyes, as well as an uncommon intelligence. They can climb walls, but can't spit the Dark Globes.

Interesting, though I'm sad to hear that the Dino-Demons are now extinct

I never said they're extinct. They just changed origins. Let me list what I mean:
Allosaurus Fulguris: Allosaurus + gold dragon
Burrowing Giganotosaurus(still without a scientific name): Giganotosaurus + brown dragon
Saw Acrocanthosaurus (idem): Acro + brown dragon
I thought about others, but I want them to be a surprise

Right then.

So the dragons you speak of....are they the ones from that Wyverns 1 Deviation?

Fine by me

Yeah, I once had a dragon for a friend who had a habit of flirting with human women; sometimes shapeshifting himself into human men for the very purpose.

Unfortunately, for him he often struck out Big Time!

I like the idea! I wonder how many elements and dinosaurs you're going to use for this new series.

Now this is badass!

I can see you have improved the idea a lot since we last spoke of horned raptors. I really do love this things over all design, the water element and the pure creepy factor work nice on these Umbraraptors.

The only thing that looks a bit off is the tiny horns. lol

THanks, whatcha think of the powers I gave them?

Well, I figured it would look too draconic and less dino with bigger horns. I wanted to keep balanced, but this does not mean we can't say this is a female, so she's got little horns.

They sound kinda like raptors fused with Xenomorphs!...then fed crack!
That's about as close as I can come to explaining how insane these guys are.

Well, in the raptor world the females would be larger and fight for teh right to pick what males they want. So this would more likely be a male. lol

Well, there ARE Xeno-Raptors coming, just give me another day or two...

Can you imagine you looking down on your shadow, giving your back to the sun, when one of these creeps jump out from your shadow to eat you? I find that pretty cool XD

But not in the dragon world, and there the males are more impressive.

lol I should have known.

Ohhh yeah, now that is just an awesome scene right there!

Well, you did say the packs were lead by a female in the bio, so I was kinda going off that.

AW, come on! I couldn't not do that!

LOL I imagined them as some sort of monstrous boogeymen lol

Point made.

Yeah, it's like dangling a fish in front of a grizzly bear!

They are going to have to work for that spot, you have made some very impressive horrors in your time.

lol

Ah, I have to inform you that the xeno-raptors are much different from a mere mix of the two, so expect some pure CD-style madness!
