Description In this version, my personal favourite and I think official, the Kelpie is based on ancient cetaceans like Ambulocetus.

A fearsome, 3-meters long freshwater ambush predator. Exibilìting otter-like fur, except for their manes and tails, whose green color helps them pass for waterweed. Though green is the main color, they come in variations of green, grey, black and brown.
Even though their appearance may tell otherwise, Kelpies are no mere animals, as they are completely sentient creatures, and magical at that. Their main and favorite power is shape-shifting, to become any creature they may like.

Not a big fan of the design itself, but I think the color and skin/fur textures look wonderful.

Oh well, I actually enjoy it being this way, been wanting to do a ancient cetacean-based monster for a while There could've been other alternatives sure, but..eh XD

I personally would've thrown in a bit of horse (duh) and salamander for their wrinkly skin. Although I did catch that horse-like muzzle coloration you gave it.

I went for a more otter/beaver skin motif. For some reason I didn't make feet and hands in a different shade to show there's no fur, like beavers. Heh, I knew it wouldn't escape your eye

I can see the otter influence, but not the beaver. Giving the creature scaly paws might've helped with that, but it's in the past now, right?

Well, when your eye looks like , it's kinda hard to miss things. XD

At least you have a digital device to work with; I assume that makes corrections a whole lot easier.

Now now, we've had this conversation before. XD

Yes, but as you may have seen I only used it to color my drawings. Corrections are easier, yes, maily because there isn't the issue of the eraser, but it comes with a whole lot on other problems.

Yes, and I've laid down, but try to help me here XD

So I've heard; one of my other friends here was having a terrible time with his drawing tablet at first.

That's your problem and yours alone! XD
