“Before Hulk was an Avenger and before he was even incredible, travel back to a time when Kevin Feige could still f*ck up a superhero movie as director Ang Lee presents a two hour long brooding think piece about a green guy who smashes things!”

“STOP STARING AT THAT BUSH AND HIT SOMETHING!!!”
Ugh… I wish I could forget watching Hulk because it was just so God damn boring! People complain about The MCU nerfing Hulk nowadays (with the only reasonable people coming up with good reasons why) but this was just a dull movie that rarely focuses on the duality of the character. The only thing that kept me interested was Nick Nolte’s performance as David Banner and Sam Elliott as the only nice variant of General Ross. Aside from that, I have no real interest or reason to give this another shot unless every current superhero franchise goes down the drain in a poor fashion.
I know I’m going to get comments from people who do love this movie saying that I don’t understand it because I never watched it when it first came out in cinemas. Well, when you go through an extremely crappy time in 2003 until you got to see the masterpiece that is The Return Of The King, then we’ll talk. I’m not judging you for liking this movie because this is based on my own experience watching it in the same way that I handled my Demotivational Poster for the 2003 Daredevil movie.
So yeah, I think Hulk is a boring take on the character as well as a boring movie with a few minor exceptions… and the 90’s cartoon is still going to be my favourite adaptation of the character along with EMH and the 2008 MCU movie.
