Brightstar is the leader of Shadowclan currently, she is brave and cunning, and also very noble. And is the best leader Shadowclan could possibly have. She brought them away from the dark side and into the light as the prophecy she was given told her she would. Even though she had to abandon her relationship with a cat from another clan who she loved with all her heart, but perhaps it wasn’t destined for them to be together. Now, Brightstar has a daughter, icekit. Who she must protect with every living being she can muster, icekit is everything to her and she cannot lose her only kin left.

Wow! I have eight reference done now! It’s crazy for me to think how few I’ve done compared to how many there really is. Anyways, her design was pretty difficult to get but in all I really love how she turned out. And she definitely gives off the fierce leader vibes I wanted her to have while still looking like a caring mother. I also really love her pattern, yes it is complicated but I still really love it. I struggled with choosing an eye colour for her, since, I really wanted her to have green eyes at first but I changed that since another character was a ginger-striped tabby with green eyes who is a pretty significant character.
