I had this scene in my head a long time ago and it’s finally complete! Any way Shadow, not really the hero type is waiting for one of the many egotistical and so glory hungry so called heroes’s to show up and help the police squad. (Witch well probably be soon) until then he jams on his iPod.

I know when people think of hero's they think of good heated people, working for the good of others. But think about it, if let’s say people in our real world randomly had powers or objects that gave them powers, most of them probably wouldn’t be in it for just the good of others. It would probably be more of a corporation type thing. They would expect payment, and corporations would let’s say give a object giving a person power to promote their product, or control them. The common motive for becoming a hero would probably be to the same as becoming a rock star. Everyone loves you (minus the bad guy's) tons of hot girls/guys, first class treatment and MONEY. Not too many people would be willing to risk their life on a daily bases (even with super powers) without payment. Sorry for the rant I've put a lot of thought into this.

Yes if random people really did get super powers/magical objects there would probably be good hearted people to save the day. But few, very few.
