Featuring actress, Civil Rights icon, and all around great person Nichelle Nichols AKA Lieutenant Uhura
I had actually planned to draw Uhura as a mermaid for some time after seeing this art from FeatherQuilt1988 depicting Uhura as a mermaid, but I unfortunately never got around to it.
I felt really bad about not drawing anything to honor Nichelle's passing last year. I'm not sure if this makes up for it, but if she's seeing this in Heaven, I hope she knows how much I appreciate what she did for the world.
