Description Oh, don't you just adore her big,"doeful" eyes? LOL
So, this is my deer centaur, Isi. "Isi" is a Choctaw name for "deer". Suits her, no?

Isi is (predictably) shy and easily frightened. While she is very introverted, she also has a huge curiosity about the world around her, and loves finding new insects and plants to learn about. She frequently wonders off alone while hunting after a new and colorful bug. This gets her into trouble, frequently, and her first instinct is always to run, hard and fast. Despite her unaerodynamic design, she is able to outrun some of the best in her herd, and has (as of yet) escaped every predator that has crossed her path. She is exceedingly gentle, and greatly dislikes stepping on any plant or insect life. However, her shy disposition wards off all but the most determined of possible friends, and consequently, she finds her friends among the bugs, birds, and vegetation.

So, what do you think? I know it's definitely already been done before, But I've never seen a deer centaur on deviantArt, only fauns (the ones that walk on two legs) and I wanted to try a perspective drawing of a part human, and I love the way this turned out! Expect many more in this series! The collection shall be called:
"It's all a matter of perspective."

Other ideas I have:
Traditional Centaur
Various mermaids
Tiger centaur
and, anything you guys want to suggest ^^

oh. i see you tried a slightly new style for her face. good, good. she looks very surprised, no? as for the fur, i think you should blend a little less so it will have more texture and maybe add some small little lines here and there, for texture. also, maybe a few lighter or darker marks for a bit more realism. but other than that, it's nice. wait one more thing. the tail should probably be more fuzzy looking with a hint of white near the bottom. just some suggestions, but you dont have to follow them if you don't want

...hm, suggestions, but good ones. Unfortunately, I actually did try to texture the fur, but, unfortunately, was unsuccessful after many repeated attempts and thus gave up in frustration! Yay for laziness!!!

ps-there is a hint of white around the tail, but you're right about the fuzziness.

pss-and, wow! Someone noticed! Yay! Yeah, I tried a different style of eyes b/c I didn't think my current style was good at expressing emotion. And, yes! Elle a beaucoup de suprise!

I know that "tiger centaurs" have been done by someone, but that doesn't mean the idea is copyright.

I once drew my cat as a centaur...but I never finished it XP I drew a fox as centaur once too.. Combininng animals that way is fun ^_^

I love the colors you used! she has a cute personality.
