Happy Birthday Raquel! Three days in advance! I just finished this and wanted to post it right away so you get your present early~This is ~LeakingInk 's OC Blythe, and I had heaps of fun drawing him! No idea what colours to use, so I kinda... chose random ones. Here's the picture I used as reference: [link]

I filmed myself and found out that this took SIX HOURS. Didn't expect it to take that long.
Anyways, things I kind of messed around with:
-The Antlers: I kind of followed the pattern on the ref image, but changed a few things to make them "balance" better.
-The Shirt: I made it fuzzy and coloured it green. It looked better fuzzy and I made it green because I wasn't sure I could do it black and white.
-Stars: STARS. There were loads of them. I redid the entire starscape three or four times, with loads of miniature changes. They were fun though!
-Pose: OHMYGOD THE POSE. I'M SO PLEASED. I took pictures of myself with my webcam and loosely based this on them. I'm a lot better at drawing than I give myself credit for, seriously. I keep surprising myself.
All in all, REALLY PLEASED WITH THIS.

It's insane, I draw something on the computer and then get busy with school and don't do computer stuff for a while but when I get back I realize I can actually draw a lot better than I think o__O
This for example turned out a LOT better than I expected.

They're lecture/movie-watching classes so... I doodle whilst I listen
I need to scan more of it because some of the doodles are pretty good IMO.

okay, because I was like, how can you possibly take long breaks without any drawing and then suddenly see improvement. YOU'D HAVE TO BE MAGIC WAYAN.

Nah it's just so weird, I doodle and don't pay too much attention but then I go to the computer and draw and colour and I'm like "WUT THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN I EXPECTED" because I actually use refs and I don't normally give myself any credit for my colouring skills.
I underestimate my drawing a lot :I

I know how overbearing some siblings can be, through my friends and their families.
We do Skype quite a bit, but other than that we meet once per year.
It's great, I love my family
