I did it layer by layer, but it depends.
Sometimes I did the blue One while the other One was still wet so that they can mash up.
And Sometimes I did it on dry paint, so that you can see smaller marks!

There are several tecniques for watercolour
Wet on wet, wet on dry and so on

It was pretty hard to do.
When I did this I didn't have the Masking fluid (which I highly recommand if you want to do this kind of things).
Anyway I sketched Elsa's profile and then I coloured the white with white oil pastel and pencil hoping that would have stopped the water.
It worked, but it was hard!

The blue is made by several layers of blue watercolour shades, drops and splatter paint
