Ok, i know this pic could be a little different from what i usually do. But i'd like you to get the meaning of it.I don't want to offend anybody. I know what anorexia is, even if i have never felt that on my skin and i know i'll never feel it. But i know it's a disease and i see how people have been hurting because of it. I met in my life some girls who passed by or are passing by eating disorders and they were so kind to tell me their thoughs and emotions about it. They say me once "i wish i was thin as you", when they had no idea i could count their ribs.
And there was a little girl in my cousin's classroom and she was used to play with him. She's just 8ys and she's suffering for anorexia currently. She didn't play anymore. Children should play with dolls and cars, not thinking about hyde food under the table.
I think it's terribly sad to have the luxury to die of starvation.
I wish everyone could be at ease with their body, whatever it's the size. I wish beauty is in the eye of the beholder and we should be the first beholders of ourselves.

Yeah, I know that there are some people that hate their bodies. There's a girl I know that isn't exactly supermodel. In fact, I don't want to sound like I'm talking about her in a bad way, but she's really chubby. She doesn't throw up or anything like that, but sometimes she wishes that she has the money for plastic surgery, and she went on Nutrisystem once. She never did it again.
I, myself, have a bit of a muffin top. But, honestly, I don't think it's really a biggie, especially at my age. Besides, my fat is what makes me human. My body hi an, anyway.
I don't know how supermodels can survive the way they are. I feel kind of sorry for them...

I totally agree. I have been "cured" from bulimia if you can ever be completely cured of it. I'm overweight now but I don't mind. No one is making fun of me anymore, it was really surprising as I went to sauna with my husband and his friends and they didn't tease me of my fat belly or thunder thighs. They said I have great boobs tho. 
Getting older can do miracles for your self esteem as you care less and less what others think of you and more and more what do you enjoy doing what ever it might be. If only you could travel back in time and tell the young you that you will be stronger and more beautiful inside and outside than the mean people. At least I can be there for my brother's kids.

The fact is that every child would love himself.. But It's others that make him feel ugly and insecure. We should learn and teach other not to judge in first, that's a good start for people who want to love themselves.
For instance, I have beauty complex. Because I find my self unattractive. Well, I'd better say that people thinks I'm unpretty, so I've a distorted vision of myself. I wouldn't have it if they just shut up
Now, even if I know I'm pretty and that people wanted just to hurt me, It's still very hard for me to accept nice comments.
And please, just note that I haven't had any eating Disorder, it was just so much more direct to say this concept with a body than a face and people opinions!

You write with such true compassion about this terribly difficult and complex subject. It is truly sad to realize that some of us can hurt ourselves irretrievably, and because of such damaging thought patterns. It is as if the girls learn lies about themselves at an early age, and they begin to believe thee lies. If only they could realize that their beauty and their meaning is not the result of their surface appearance, but, rather, the depth and wonder of their heart and mind, their spirit and their capacity for love. It is a pity that we don't stress the beauty of these hidden qualities, because they are more powerful and more important than the shimmering surface, in my opinion.
