Everyone in the ballroom dancefloor stopped most movements as a beautiful young lady in a stunning (f/c) dress that shapped her body out perfectly walked in, looking down at the ground sheepishly. It was actually cute how nervous she looked. With looks like those though, there was nothing to be worried about, she was gorgeous.

Most men had turned their heads away from their dates just to get a small glimpse of the beautiful lady. Envious woman turned their heads away. Not so envious woman admired her beauty as well.

But the one man who was admiring her looks the most was none other than Exorcist Lavi. His jaw was practically on the floor, his eyes shapped out as hearts. "Guys! Look at her she's gorgeous! And she's just my type too!"

Allen laughed, shaking his head in disaproval. "Oh brother, there he goes again..."

Lenalee giggled, "I think its cute how he does this! And I got to admit, that woman is pretty."

"Pretty?" Lavi asked, turning to her with a what-the-hell look, "You mean pretty gorgeous right?"

Smiling, the female Exocist said, "Why don't you go ask her for a dance? I doubt any Akuma will come by soon, so you might as well."

"Yeah," Allen agreed, "I can't seem to sense any, you should go."

Placing his hands on his waist, the red-headed Exocist said, "That's a great idea!" Making his way towards the young lady, he waved his hands at his friends and said, "Wish me luck!"

"Good luck!" His friends said with a smile.

You sighed, leaning against the wall of the Ball you didn't even want to come to. You didn't even have the motivation to dance, and you loved to dance! That's how much you didn't want to be here.

There's been a whole line of men trying to ask you for a dance, but without hesitation you had rejected them all. For one thing, none of them caught your attention in the looks department, and they all seemed like those kinds of men that'd want a woman for what's on the outside, not the inside.

Which was not what you were looking for in a relationship.

You wanted a man that loved you for who you were, not for what you looked like...

Looking up at the crowd of people, you noticed a man with blood red hair making his way towards you. He had a head band and an eye patch that covered his right eye. His good eye was a gorgeous shade of green.

Well... he certainly got you in the looks department...

"Hello my young lady," he said with slight bow. With a confident smile on his face, he said, "My name is Lavi. Might I ask for yours?"

You smiled back at him. He was certainly nice. "_________."

"Ah... What a beautiful name for a beautiful young lady!" He smiled, making you blush, "_________," He bowed once again, "Would you care for a dance?"

You were ready to reject him like the rest of the men. But there was something about him that you liked.

And anyways, one little dance wouldn't hurt anyone.

Smiling, you said, "Sure. I'd love to."

He smiled widely at your aproval. Taking your hand, he pulled you closer to his body, placing a hand on you waist, the other locking with your hand. You placed your hand over around his shoulder and he quickly lead the two of you to the dance floor where other couples were dancing.

With a slow song on, the two of you danced almost in the middle of the dance floor, gaining envious looks from others. The rejected men mumbled irritably to themselves while the woman admired the "cute" couple dancing.

The two of you danced for what felt like forever. But it was very fun. Lavi was much funnier than you thought and he was actually a joy to spend time with. After the both of you grew tired of dancing, Lavi lead the two of you to a pair of chairs, taking a seat.

Smiling at him, you said, "Wow, that was a lot of fun."

Nodding in agreement, he said, "Yeah. We should do this again sometime," He smiled back. "What do you say?"

With a light blush, you said, "Sure. Sounds like a lot of fun!"
