Description
We cannot skip the process of aging and the whole subject matter can be quite engaging

but I'm here to tell you I'm not a conformist ... a rebel at heart I don't do what the norm is

Looks are not everything they fade eventually but I want to look as young as I can but not out of vanity

it's mostly just so that I can keep intact my sanity

so if I am careful and don't smoke and sleep at night
AndI use moisturizer and try to eat right

if I exercise and try to keep my stress in check
I may not get those pesky wrinkles on my face and neck

my gray hair might just stay hidden and what doesn't I can dye it
And having a healthy sex life helps, believe me you should try it

and stay out of the sun it's good for no one and kiss the man who invented sunscreen

And believe in your mind and your heart and your soul your the happiest you've ever been

if you can do this regularly it will keep you young but it's no guarantee
Cuz most the signs of aging are just meant to be

And though I accept that, just like taxes and death
You won't find me sitting here holding my breath

The day will come when I'm ninety one but I hope I will look sixty nine
My rebel soul will keep fighting this thing we call aging while outrunning father time
