I took pics like this in my home town.
(albeit a much smaller home town)
They came out the same, with the invisible car.

yeah. some did but it depended on the color of the car and the speed. PCH is a beautiful stretch of road that follows the coast I take it everyday to school.

I agree with you. I took around 250 pictures that night. about 100 of which where not taken well, either by me or my friends, and another hundred that I took that where out of focus. I have to have perfect focus (which is hard since I need reading glasses LOL) plus it's dark out. perfect focus, I feel is extremely necessary when doing night shots because it adds to that feeling of it and adds to the crispness of the lights themselves. In my opinion it's a very urban look. good thing to because there would be to many pictures up here otherwise.
I know it sounds like total BS, but thats the way I feel. you only un-focus the slightest If it helps the picture, for instance a portrait or something.

These night shots of you are pretty cool. I think you have the luck so they mix yellows and blues, plus a good focusing makes them have an incredible atmosphere in my opinion. Like if there were no sound, I think.
The vital word here is Focus... I even like when the model looks blurry, sometimes. But try to have the place as sharp as you can. It's just my opinion, probably you could shut my mouth.
