Description
This creature of pure flame will repurpose the bones of those fallen in the desert to create a semblance of a solid body for itself. The body it puts together looks chimerical in nature. It feeds by burning whatever organic matter it can find dotting the desert. Its life depends on keeping its flame tethered to a controlled area, so if it were to venture beyond the sand into a forest and cause a fire, it would perish in that fire.

It wasn't clear to me whether this design would work or not, and now that it's colored it's even LESS clear. It may be a matter of opinion whether there's too much clutter going on here, or there's certain quality to this design.
