A close-up of our pocket-knives and my Ruger. The 2 Kershaws, both spring-assist, (top right) were gifts from my boss! The stainless/carbon fiber/drilled-out Ka-Bar is a special edition and I think the coolest looking. The 3 Gerbers are just great overall everyday/camping/working beater knives. The Ruger 22/45 is so called because it is a bull-barrel 22 with a 45 caliber grip. Feels great in the hand and looks a bit more substantial than a basic 22.Related content

Thanks.. They are surprisingly difficult to throw even though it seems so easy. See the 'new toys' pic in my Random Stuff folder. That big old tree was quite hard to hit!

Yeah, our friend had a mini-crossbow thing. Turned out to be a p.o.s., broke before the end of the day!
NP my friend, I'm bad at keeping in touch myself. Things have been good with us. I have weekends off, for the first time in years, and he always does so we've been able to go out to festivals, art shows etc. that are only on weekends for the first time since we've been together, very cool...

There are better things for catching, like your BF
Probably more a crossbow for showing than using? I have a pair of sai blades which are technically for show, but used them for training as well.

I'm more of a knife and sword fan, personally, but I've been toying with the idea of getting a gun, because as the other saying goes, "I'd rather go to my grave having a gun and never needing to use it than needing a gun and not having one."
