Here's a water color painting I did many many years ago of the Micronaut Aliens. These guys were among some of the most awesome figures from the Mego Micronaut toy line back in the day. I used to have this art work here on DA but for reasons which escape me at the moment I took it down. Oh well we all do dumb things we later can't explain.Related content

yep, arguably my favorite fantasy artist ever. can't remember if I mentioned it to you already but he also did the packaging art for The Masters of The Universe toys of the mid 80s and even the KISS album covers of the late 70s.

that art work is by fantasy artist Ken Kelly who did the illustrations for KISS albums as well as The packaging art for the Masters of the Universe toy line as well.

Still gettting new comics for them is nice at least. IDW has made Good comics like More than Meets the Eye ongoing of Transformers and their Godzilla comics so I'm hopeful

When I was a kid I created a character based on the flying guy. It was a good design, but the buzz saw arm put it over the top! Good work.

thanks Dana. as is the nice Micronauts/Rom piece in your gallery which i also featured on the Rom blog last year. aside from Rom i'm glad that piece had the Micronaut Aliens too. one of these days i'm going to try and get around to doing a Rom vs. The Micronaut Aliens piece.
