For every great power there is its equal and opposite.
Ryozerk and Emperor Serpent are a perfect example of this rule. For everything Ryozerk stands for Serpent opposes and whenever Serpent schemes to take control Ryozerk will be there to stop him.
Their rivalry is one for the ages, both are the only ones who can stop the other yet neither able to truly overcome their counterpart. Such is the balance of good and evil, and will be so for all eternity.
