Well, The two characters in question are drawn at their original age, or close to it, so of course there would be no boobs. Also, since the gown is see-though, most of Helga's character is invisible.

I love your colouring technique, it gives your pictures so much life. Helga and Arnold simply look stunning. I love it when Arnold looks smart and classy, he just seems like he truly enjoys it.

Thank you,thank you all!
Well to answer your questions...
I used colored ink for the character outines(black and brown),and colored it all with colored pencils and run through the computer to smooth it out.
As for how I made Helga's dress transparent, well,I had to first draw the gown. Then, after deciding what parts I would make see-through,I incompletely drew what would be on the *opposite side* of the gown to give the gown the illusion that what was seen through was hazy.
Knowing that the moon was the only strong light source in the picture,I had to give the gown the right amount of shading and the right color of shading on the edges of her skirt to make Helga appear translucent, and to give *just* enough color to Arnold's clothes so that you can see then in her gown, but not too clearly.
It's a trick of feeling how much light-play to give a subject and it depends on factors like direction and source of light in a picture, what the subject's surface texture feels like, how it moves or how it's structured(rough like tree bark or smooth as skin), and how it is affected by the light(like highlights or shading).
A good way to practice the trick is to train your eyes to look at everyday things and how they look in the light and in shadow. You want to think three-dimensionally when you color because light and shadow are like water, they flow over a surface and fill in the spaces of whatever they touch.
As for a possible comic for Halloween?
Well, happily,BlondeCecile, the author of my first HA!lloween comic tale,"Awakening",and a big HA! fan to boot, said that she was quite inspired by "Love and Villainy" and that she's thinking of writting something new for the holiday. It may just happen and if it happens soon enough,I may be able to work on it for this very Halloween!Write to BlondCecile and ask her.I think she'll pretty much confirm it.

Wonderful concept, and absolute beautiful illustration. What medium did you use, and how did you manage the transparent quality of her wedding dress? Which is done really well, by the way, especially concerning how "Arnold's" cloak can be seen through "Helga's" gown.
I would love to see a fanfic or a comic made out of this--this was created with brilliant inspiration, I have to say.

Thanks for the detailed explanation. I've started working with colored pencils recently and still have quite a way to go. So learning about the technique you used really makes me want to attempt it.
Thank you again!
Also, I'm glad to hear the news! It'll be boatloads of fun to see what BlondeCecile creates based on the image, and what you intend to have happen. Make sure to let me know if/when she creates something from it.
