challenged me to a Battle on a Bridge splash page duel, and I do not back down from such a challenge!She may not be able to cut down bridges with a string of beads, but Hanabi takes her roll as a G-G member VERY seriously. Enough to stabbinate flunkies. But I'm sure Cold will be fine. >.> A few anime bandages and he'll be back in full working order!
I don't even want to think about all the hours I spent planning and CGing this durn thing XD
Done entirely on the comp! For the ease of erasing and redrawing crap over and over.
Got lotsa feedback and advice on the angle and posing, and I think it turned out pretty durn decently!

Sweet. I just gotta love how Hanabi's hair flows up and her pose catches my attention. I have always been fond of action pack scene, so I am really liking this illustration. I checked out Masterthecreater's illustration and he did a nice job, but this should still be an easy win for you. Your drawing leave more of an impact. Great work.

Nice entry. You managed to squeeze alot of dynamic energy into one motion. And the way you managed to focus all attention on the impact zone through merging speed lines was very well don. I hope you win this one.

Wonderful composition and very good job showing the impact strength of the stab.
Ahm, that's probably the first time i see Hanabi and blood spilled in the same pic ... but if it's anime-esque type of violence (where people get ventilated and still live) then it's ok.
Just hope Hanabi doesn't start chopping heads soon .. it's hard for people (even anime people) to survive that, and it's hard to imagine Hanabi murdering someone over a duel.
