I never really got into the Dragon Ball series... I watched the first 26 episodes of the original Dragon Ball, and haven't bothered to pick up anything DB related from there. I also watched a couple of the Dragon Ball Z movies, which weren't as boring as the Dragon Ball episodes, but I liked the portrayal of grown up Krillin over youthful Krillin.

Anyway, this is another of Wesley's art that I colored, and another example where it's really cool that he draws in his own very different style, but the character is still recognizable.

Also, there's this guy I sit next to in class who apparently works for DC Comics as a colorist. He told me I had too many layers, and all I ever need is three layers. I didn't really understand his logic at first (I still don't, actually), but I noticed the way he colors (and he colors in ten minutes what I probably would in thirty), and so I applied what I saw to the clothes of the characters, so you should notice the shading on their clothe is different from my other coloring. And it's a lot faster too, I'd probably have this image ready in two days if I colored the way I normally do.
