i have a little sanctuarya cozy little hollow
ever warm
always accepting
and oh, so inviting
inside, the day's burdens slink away
defeated, for the moment
admittedly, i linger
perhaps too long
stretching long into
the docile hours of early morning
a retreat?
an escape?
certainly.
one i guiltily partake of
again and again
a heady delight
to be so close
to another
